EQ3 sells modern furniture, and its catalog is built around named collections. The Marcel family covers bedroom storage and beds, while the dining pieces include tables and chairs. The store lists its prices in Canadian dollars (CA$), and most are "from" prices that rise with size, finish or configuration. This guide goes through the bestselling pieces on the homepage.
Bedroom: the Marcel collection
Marcel is the dominant name on the bestseller list. The Marcel Bed is listed from CA$1,649. Storage pieces vary in price:
- Marcel Open Shelf Floating Nightstand — from CA$399
- Marcel Nightstand — from CA$499
- Marcel Open Shelf Nightstand — from CA$599
- Marcel Single Dresser — from CA$1,499
- Marcel Floating Sideboard — from CA$1,599
- Marcel Chest — from CA$1,999
- Marcel Double Dresser — from CA$2,399
If you were furnishing a bedroom with the Marcel bed and one nightstand at the starting prices, the pair would come to CA$2,148 with the Marcel Nightstand or CA$2,048 with the floating open-shelf nightstand.
Among the dressers, the Marcel Double Dresser is CA$900 above the Single Dresser at their starting prices (CA$2,399 versus CA$1,499). The Floating Sideboard sits between the two at CA$1,599, and the Chest is listed from CA$1,999.
Dining
The Kacia Dining Table is listed from CA$799, the Homework Dining Table at CA$1,699 and the Harvest Dining Table from CA$1,799. The Tami Dining Chair is listed from CA$349. A table plus four chairs built from the Kacia table and the Tami chair would start at CA$2,195.
The Homework Dining Table is listed at a single price of CA$1,699, while the Harvest Dining Table starts at CA$1,799, so the Harvest is CA$100 higher before any size or finish options.
Sales and services
Coupon listings for EQ3 are mostly sale events rather than codes. They include a 25% off anniversary event that was extended, 40% off select upholstery, and up to 50% off select furniture. EQ3 also lists free fabric swatches and design services, and free shipping appears in the listings. Which pieces are included in a sale varies, so check the product page. Free swatches are useful for upholstery in particular, because fabric color can look different on a screen than in your room.
Reading "from" prices
Furniture prices depend heavily on options. A "from" price is the entry configuration, so the final figure for a larger bed or a different finish will be higher. Prices and sale terms are listed on the store and can change, and the same applies to the starting prices quoted in this guide.
How to pay less
Because most of the savings are sale events, the biggest lever is timing and which items qualify. Ordering free swatches before you buy can also help you avoid a costly mismatch on an upholstered piece. For a running list of the current sales, see our EQ3 coupons page.
