Alice Mushrooms sells functional mushroom chocolate, and the product names give you a sense of how the shop is organised: each flavor has its own name, such as Nightcap, Brainstorm, Party Trick and Happy Ending, and most of the catalog is made of sets that combine two or three of them. This guide covers the listed prices so you can compare the sets.
The entry price: $59
Many of the best sellers share a starting price of $59. That includes the individual-style listings Party Trick, nightcap x open, brainstorm + journal and the Happy Ending x Dipsea Set, all listed as "from $59", as well as the zen-x functional mushroom subscription kit and the Everyday Duo (Brainstorm and Nightcap).
Bundles
- Bedroom Bundle (Happy Ending, Nightcap) — $59
- Unwind Bundle (Nightcap + Zen-X) — $59
- The Essentials — $78
- Big Night Bundle (Party Trick, Happy Ending, Nightcap) — $78
- Work Hard Play Hard Bundle (Brainstorm, Party Trick, Nightcap) — $78
The two-flavor bundles are $59 and the three-flavor bundles are $78, so the third flavor adds $19 on the listed numbers.
The Discovery Set
The largest set is the Discovery Set, which includes Zen-X, Brainstorm, Nightcap, Party Trick and Happy Ending. It is listed at $119, against a regular $145, which is a $26 difference or about 18%. For someone who wants to try every flavor once, it is the straightforward option.
Subscriptions
The store banner has promoted 30% off subscriptions. If you plan to reorder, compare the subscription price on the product page with the one-time price before committing, and check the cancellation terms.
How the sets compare
A quick calculation helps. The Discovery Set includes five flavors for $119, which is about $23.80 per flavor. A three-flavor bundle at $78 is $26 per flavor, and a two-flavor bundle at $59 is $29.50 per flavor. On those figures, the larger the set, the lower the cost per flavor, though only the Discovery Set shows an explicit reduction against a regular price.
Several listings are marked "from $59", which means the final price can change with the option you select, such as a subscription or a larger quantity. Read the product page to see which version the listed price refers to, and check the shipping and cancellation terms for any subscription before you confirm the order. The store's banner has promoted 30% off subscriptions, so the subscription price is the one to compare first.
How to pay less
Third-party listings for the store show storewide offers in the 15% to 25% range, free shipping and a newsletter offer. Which apply at checkout can vary. Our Alice Mushrooms coupons page lists the current ones. All prices above are listed on the store and can change.
