Chomps sells meat sticks, and the store's own site title describes them as 100% grass-fed beef jerky sticks, with Paleo and Whole30 mentioned in its tagline. The catalog is mostly about flavor and pack size. Below is how the lineup looks and what the store lists for price.
Beef flavors
Beef is the largest group. The beef flavors we saw include Original Beef, Jalapeño Beef, Smoky BBQ Beef, Sea Salt Beef, Italian Style Beef, Taco Seasoned Beef, Chili Lime Beef and Habanero Beef. They sit together on the bestseller shelf and in the product grid.
Turkey, chicken and venison
The store also sells Original Turkey and Pepperoni Seasoned Turkey, plus chicken sticks such as Original Chicken, Nashville Hot Chicken and Savory Breakfast Chicken. For something different there is Salt & Pepper Venison.
Pack sizes and prices
The listed entry price across the bestsellers is $25.60, which is a 10-pack. For example, the Original Beef 10 Pack is listed from $25.60 and the Savory Breakfast Chicken 10 Pack at $25.60. A larger option exists too: the Original Beef 24 Pack is listed at $54.99.
- 10 pack — from $25.60 (about $2.56 per unit)
- 24 pack — $54.99 (about $2.29 per unit)
Moving from the 10-pack to the 24-pack lowers the cost per stick by roughly 27 cents, on the Original Beef example. The 24 pack is shown only for that flavor in the information we gathered, so check the flavor you want.
A quick worked example: two 10-packs of the Original Beef at the entry price come to $51.20 for 20 units, while one 24-pack is $54.99 for 24 units. The larger pack costs $3.79 more and gives you four extra units.
Flavor choice is the other decision. The heat-leaning options include Nashville Hot Chicken, Jalapeño Beef and Habanero Beef, while Original, Sea Salt and Salt & Pepper Venison are the plainer ones. The store also lists Pepperoni Seasoned Turkey and Taco Seasoned Beef for people who want a more snack-style taste.
Subscription banner
When we checked, the homepage banner advertised a 10% saving on every order for subscribers, along with a giveaway promotion. A subscription is a recurring order, so read the terms and cancellation steps on the product page before selecting it.
How to pay less
Coupon listings for Chomps are some of the most varied we see. They include storewide offers at 15%, 20% and 25%, most of which need a code, as well as a $10 off listing, a 10% off listing and free shipping. Which one applies depends on the order, and the larger percentages are often time-limited. On a $54.99 24-pack, 15% off would save about $8.25. The current offers are on our Chomps coupons page.
