The catalog for Paula's Choice was not readable when we prepared this page, so we are keeping to the offers and how to use them. There are five on our list.
The five offers
- 20% off storewide, which needs a code
- A plain 20% off listing, no code needed
- A 15% off listing, no code needed
- Free shipping storewide, which needs a code
- A separate free shipping listing, no code needed
Codes versus automatic deals
Two of the five require a code: the storewide 20% off and the storewide free shipping. The other three apply without one. The two 20% listings look similar but are different entries, so if the code version is rejected, the plain version is the one to try next.
Choosing between discount and shipping
With a percentage deal and a free shipping deal both on the list, it is worth doing a quick comparison at checkout. A percentage discount lowers the item total; free shipping removes a charge. Which saves more depends on your cart, so look at the final figure before you pay. The conditions for each offer, such as a minimum spend, are on the offer itself.
Using the list in order
A sensible order is to try the storewide 20% code first, because it is the largest discount that applies to the whole store. If it is declined, use the plain 20% listing, then the 15% listing. Keep the free shipping offers for orders where the shipping charge is the bigger cost, and check the cart total after each attempt so you know which route actually came out lower.
- Make sure the discount line appears in the order summary.
- Do not assume two offers combine. The store decides that at checkout.
- Offers end without notice, so use one soon after you find it.
How to pay less
Go to the Paula's Choice coupons page. Show Code reveals the code, copies it and opens the store so you can paste it at checkout. Get Deal opens the store with the offer attached and nothing to type.
