DROOL is a contemporary art print and poster store. The pieces are credited to individual artists, and almost every bestseller carries the same starting price, so the main decision is which artwork you want rather than how much to spend. This guide covers what we could read from the store and how the prices are shown. Prices can change.
The pricing pattern
Most of the bestseller tiles show the same pair of numbers: a starting price of £37 against a regular £61. That is a gap of £24, or about 39%. Among the bestsellers that follow this pattern are Okinawa 1, Regular Breaks, Kohaku, Waves, Self Care, Cascade, Open mind, Champion Plum, Lonesome, Jazz Kissa, and Trespassers will be fed to the Leopard.
One print is priced a little higher: Tiger In Green starts at £44 against £73, a difference of £29, about 40%.
Currency and sizes
The bestseller tiles show pounds, while the product pages we read showed dollars. Okinawa 1, Regular Breaks, Nine Lives, Waves, Takachiho Gorge and Repeating are each listed at $61, and Shadow and Gold and 2AM in the Swamp are listed at $43. Which currency you see may depend on your location, so check what appears for you. As a "from" price, the starting figure normally refers to the smallest size, with larger prints costing more.
Choosing a print
- Pick by artwork first. The price is almost identical across the bestsellers, so there is no cost reason to settle for a print you only half like.
- Check the size. A starting price can be misleading if the size you want is larger.
- Look at the frame options. We have no data on framing, so confirm it on the product page.
Browsing tips
The bestsellers have titles such as Self Care, Waves, Cascade and Jazz Kissa, and others like Takachiho Gorge, Nine Lives and Repeating appear on the product pages. Titles are the main clue, so scanning the images on the store is quicker than relying on names.
Sale listings
The "was" prices on the tiles mean the store is already showing a reduced price on these prints. Treat the percentage as a comparison against the store's own regular price, not against any other seller. Whether the sale will still be on when you order is something only the store can say.
How to pay less
The offers we track include 20% off storewide, 15% off storewide, percentage-off listings of 30% to 34%, and free shipping. Storewide codes may not stack with items that are already reduced, so test the code in your cart before relying on it. For example, 20% off a £37 print would be £7.40 less, but only if the code applies to a sale item. Compare the live options on our DROOL coupons page.
